durvina had me in mijn vorige blogpost gevraagd waar ik de achtergrondstempel met de haard en de sokjes vandaan had: nou dit is gewoon een oudere kerststempel van magnolia. ik weet alleen niet meer precies uit welk jaar. denk 2 jaar terug maar kan ik niet met 100% zeggen.

ook vroeg ze naar mijn watermerk. het watermerk (ook mijn naam onderaan mijn blog) heb ik bij whimsy stamps laten maken en die plaats ik op mijn kaart via photoshop.

durvina, ik hoop hiermee je vragen beantwoord te hebben. mocht er toch nog iets niet helemaal duidelijk zijn moet je het me ff laten weten.

ik loop nog steeds achter met de kerstkaartjes maar vandaag heb ik er weer 2 om te laten zien. ik wil beginnen met het kaartje dat ik gemaakt heb voor de christmas challenges(with sketches). de twist was om een bedel en een stuk touw te gebruiken:

dit doosje heb ik paar weken terug voor mijn vriendin gemaakt maar helemaal vergeten om er foto's van te maken. het patroontje is van cards etc. omdat ik nog geen set van stacking labels van MFT heb (met een beetje geluk komende maandag wel) heb ik zelf een stapel gemaakt van verschillende dies met daarop een tekst erop. in het kopje heb ik een theezakje gehangen waar ik een zakje van designpapier omheen heb gemaakt zodat het mooi bij het doosje past:

ik ben eindelijk helemaal klaar met schilderen. mijn kastje is nou voor 90% af. de bedoeling is dat er nog een tekst sticker op komt, 2 lampjes en andere knopjes. hier moet ik nog ff op wachten dus kan nog ff duren voordat die helemaal af is.

sorrie, nog steeds geen kaartje maar ik wilde even laten zien hoe ver ik al met mijn kastje ben. het grijze gedeelte moet nog een laagje verf krijgen en dan verder aan de deurtjes. ik hoop oven een weekje of zo

weer te kunnen knutselen. natuurlijk laat ik dan ook het eindresultaat even zien.

goede avond allemaal,

voorlopig even geen nieuwe kaartjes van mij. ik ben begonnen om mijn grenen buffetkast wit te schilderen. dit stond al anderhalf jaar op de planning en ik was het nou opeens zo beu dat ik er afgelopen weekend aan ben begonnen. dit is overgens ook voor het eerst dat ik zelf een kast schilder. tot nu toe vind ik het wel redelijk goed gaan alleen neemt dit nogal wat tijd in beslag dat ik helemaal niet aan kaarten maken toe kom. hier een foto van mijn kast in de grondverf. de 3 laatjes en 2 plankjes zijn ook al gedaan maar er staan nog 5 deurtjes die in de grondverf moeten waarvan 2 met glazen raampjes. hierna kan dan eindelijk alles wit gelakt worden. het is de bedoeling dat de binnenkant van het bovenste kastje donkergrijs word maar daar moet ik eerst nog verf voor laten maken. mocht ik tussendoor toch nog ff tijd vinden om te knutselen dan laat ik dat natuurlijk ff zien.

I started to paint my pine cabinet white. it's been on my list for one and a half year now and and suddenly I was so sick of it that I started on it last weekend. this is also my first time painting a cabinet. until now I think everything is going pretty well but it takes a lot of time that I can't find any time to craft at all. here a picture from my cabinet with the primer on it. the 3 drawers and 2 shelves are done also but I still have 5 doors, 2 with little windows in them that I need to do before the real paint can be put on. the idea is that the inside of the upper cabinets will be painted in dark grey but I still need to get especially made paint for it. if I can find some little time to craft, I will show it here of course.

vandaag heb ik een boekenlegger en 3 kaartjes om te laten zien. ik was een paar maanden terug al aan de boekenlegger begonnen maar door omstandigheden niet meer afgemaakt. van het weekend kwam ik hem weer tegen en dacht word toch eens tijd om hem af te maken dus bij deze. omdat ik graag vampier boeken was ik geïnspireerd door een personage van the vampire diaries genaamd "damon".

goedemorgen allemaal,

dit keer heb ik 2 kaartjes om te laten zien en de eerste heb ik gemaakt voor een challenge van make it crafty. de nieuwe urban street collection is helemaal geweldig omdat je zelf helemaal een straat kan ontwerpen. had wat tips gekregen van alina om mijn stad te laten overvloeien van grijs onder naar zwart om het wat natuurlijker te laten lijken. alina, hartelijk bedankt voor de hulp. een paar maanden terug was de skate chick van kenny k een freebie en vond ik ideaal voor een grappige scene. dit papier is eigenlijk halloween papier maar er zitten zoveel vellen in met streepjes, stipjes enzo erin dat je het hele blokje kan gebruiken en nooit een halloweenkaart te maken.

gisteren heb ik deze harry potter scene met afbeeldingen van tiddly inks ingekleurd en deze kaart mee gemaakt:

en vandaag dit simpele sterkte kaartje gemaakt. ik ben niet helemaal blij met hoe het geworden is maar wilde deze toch ff showen. heb deze modellen na een idee van iemand op clubs in zwart/wit gemaakt gehad 2 jaar geleden en wilde een keer een kleurvariant proberen maar heb het gevoel dat er iets mis mee is maar weet zo ff niet wat. ik heb deze gestempeld met cat's eyes inktblokjes.

and today I made this simpel be strong card. I'm not really happy how it turned out but wanted to show it anyway. made this models after a idea of someone on clubs in black and white 2 years ago and wanted to try a colour version this time. I have the feeling something is wrong with it but don't know really what. I stamped these with cat's eye inktblocks.

TIP VOOR GEBRUIK CAT'S EYE INKT: gebruik eerst versamark inkt op je stempel met daarover de cat's eye voordat je stempelt op je papier. de versamark is een soort lijm waardoor de pigment van de cat's eye beter blijft zitten.

TIP FOR USING CAT'S EYE INK: use first versamark ink on your stamp with cat's eye over it before you stamp on your paper. the versamark is some kind of glue that makes the pigment from the cat's eye to stick better.

en een tijdje terug heb ik voor de pottenbakkerij bitterkoekjes cupcakes gebakken en versiert met glazuur, een heel bitterkoekje met kruimels erom. ze vonden ze erg geslaagd!!!

and a while back I made these macaroon cupcakes and decorated with glaze, a whole macaroon and crumbs around them. they found them very successful!!!

ik heb ook nog 2 hobbyshop tips voor jullie. bij de bruna kwam ik de nieuwe engelse papercraft inspiration magazine tegen en heb ik speciaal gekocht vanwege de 20 prachtige lily of the valley stempelafdrukjes en daarna was ik naar de craftsupplie winkel geweest omdat ik een nieuwe derwent coloursoftpotlood pale brown nodig had. ik had nog maar een klein stompje over en daar kwam ik deze derwent pensil extenders tegen zodat je ook die kleine stompjes kan opmaken. de grijze is speciaal voor de coloursoft en de zwarte kan je ook voor andere merken gebruiken. ik hoop dat jullie er wat aan hebben:

I also have to artshoptips for you. at the bookstore I found this new english papercraft inspiration magazine and bought it especially because of the beautiful lily of the valley stamped images. after that I went to a artsuppliestore because I needed a new derwent coloursoft pensil pale brown. I only had a little stub and there I found these derwent pensil extenders so you can still use those little stubs. the grey one is special for the coloursoft and you can use every other brands of pensils with the black one. I hope this is useful for you:

ik heb weer 3 creaties om te laten zien. ik heb het dit keer wat simpel gehouden omdat er wat stressvolle dingen in mijn omgeving spelen waardoor ik bijna niet aan kaartenmaken toe kom of ik ben gewoon te onrustig om iets te maken.

en ik had de vraag gekregen een babydoosje te maken die in cards only magazine van mei/juni stond. sorry voor de slechte foto's. omdat ik dit op het laatste moment pas klaar had moest ik mijn foto op de pottenbakkerij nemen en dan heb ik geen daglichtlamp om ervoor te zetten.

en hier is het workshopkaartje wat ik bij dietvorst (hobbywinkel) heb gemaakt. helaas had ik mijn afbeeldinkje verknalt (ben gewoon niet goed in het inkleuren met inkt) dat ik een ander plaatje heb gebruikt. ik had ook nog wat papier over waar ik een digitekstje van hobbypaleis op heb geprint om mijn kaartje wat extra kleur te geven.

goedemiddag allemaal,

afgelopen week heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt met de schattige fluffy on the lily digistamp van wee stamps.

sinds afgelopen week loop ik naast de 2 middagen stage bij de pottenbakkerij nou ook 1 middagen stage bij de kringloper. daardoor is mijn week wat voller geworden en kom ik niet aan alles toe wat ik zou willen en moet doen. deze extra 2 middagen zorgen er op moment voor dat ik de rest van de tijd erg moe ben en niet veel aan knutselen toe kom. ook heb ik hierdoor bijna niet de kans gehad om op jullie blogs te reageren. mijn excuses hiervoor. ik moet nog een beetje een ritme krijgen in hoe en wanneer dingen te doen maar hoop dat ik er over enkele weken er wel een beetje aan gewend ben.

goedemorgen allemaal,

ik was afgelopen woensdag met dit kaartje begonnen en heb die gisteren afgemaakt. het gaat op moment allemaal wat langzamer omdat ik iets in mijn duim verrekt heb met knippen. knutselen gaat wel op knippen na dan. met een pincetschaar knippen lukt me anders wel (anders kon ik dit kaartje niet maken). het kan jammergenoeg wel een aantal weken tot een aantal maanden duren voordat het genezen is. heb geprobeerd een beetje een vintage kaartje van de maken. Ik hoop dat dat een beetje gelukt is:

in het vorige bericht had ageeth gevraagd hoe ik mijn "cute"stempeltje voor mijn achtergrond had gekregen.

nou ik heb eerst de cute stempel gestempeld op een hema kaartje en daarna nog een keer op een post it briefje (zorg dat er iets van het plakrandje achter je afdruk zit). het afdrukje op de post it heb ik uitgeknipt met een randje om het afdrukje heen. deze heb ik daarna op mijn hema kaartje geplakt over mijn afdrukje heen (de post it is een beetje doorschijnbaar zodat je toch kan zien of die goed zit) hierna heb ik mijn achtergrond stempel gepakt en eroverheen gestempeld. als ik klaar ben met stempelen haal ik de post it er weer af en je "cute"stempel staat voor de achtergrond.

in my last blogpost ageeth asked me how I got my "cute"stamp infront of my backgrond. well I first stamped the cute stempel on a card from the hema and again on a post it note (ensure that there is some of the sticky part is behind you image). I cut out the image on my post it with a little edge around it ( the post it is a little translucent so you still can see if you stick it right) after this I took my backgroundstamp and stamped over it. when I'm ready with stamping I took the post it off and your "cute"stamp is in front of the background.

(hope you understand it. for some words I needed a translater and that doesn't always translate very well)

vandaag heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de sweet stop sketch challenge# 98 en daarvoor heb ik een lief stempeltje van lili of the valley gebruikt die ik in november van mijn blogvriendin sylvia (creavlinder) heb gekregen. ook heb ik één van de achtergrondstempels gebruikt die ik gisteren alvast als verjaardagcadeautje (11-03) van mijn hobbyvriendin anja (hobbyhol) heb gekregen.
