toen van de week het blauw metalic cardstock binnen kwam kon ik ook eindelijk de jongens variant maken van het baby kaartje van 2 berichten geleden. Natuurlijk heb ik dingen wel wat anders geplaatst zodat die niet precies hetzelfde is en hij mocht het sjaaltje van het kleine eendje lenen.

when I got the blue metalic cardstock this week I finaly could make the boy version of the babycard from 2 posts back. Of course I changed the placement a little so it's not exactly the same and he borrowed the scarfe from the little duckling.

Paint pouring: swipes.

Goede morgen allemaal, 

afgelopen dinsdag heb weer wat verf gegoten. Ik heb dezelfde kleuren gebruikt als mijn Dutch Pour wat ik een paar dagen terug gedeeld heb. Deze van vandaag zijn allemaal met dezelfde techniek gedaan en hebben toch allemaal een andere uitstraling. Jammer dat je het glimmer van het goud moeilijk vast kan leggen op camera waardoor deze ook een bijna gele uitstraling heeft. Je kan het wel een klein beetje zien bij de onderzetters (onderste foto). Er zit dus meer goud op dan geel. Het was de bedoeling dat het hart de uitstraling zou krijgen van de tweede canvas maar ik vind het toch wel wat hebben:

last tuesday I did some paint pouring again. I used the same colors as my Dutch Pour that I shared a few days back. With these I share today, I used the same technic on all but they turned out very different from eachother. To bad you can't see the gold glimmering. It's so hard to get that on the foto but you can see a little bit on the coasters (bottom photo). There is more gold on it than yellow. The heart should have looked like the second canvas (that was the idea) but I think I still like it:

Ik ben nog met kaartjes bezig dus het volgende blogbericht word zeker weer een kaart en ik kan je alvast verklappen dat het een babykaartje is met de lieve nieuwe baby collectable stans van Eline Pellinkhof (wat een schatje is dat). Niet omdat ik die nodig heb maar omdat ik graag die stans wilde gebruiken (het schildpadje staat nog op mijn wensenlijst).

iemand vroeg om wat verjaardagskaartjes voor personen die in de zomer jarig zijn en dit is de eerste. Ik heb sowiso nog wat kaarten in zeethema zonder tekst liggen maar altijd handig om wat verjaardagskaartjes op vooraad te hebben.

someone asked me for some birthday cards for people who's birthday is in the summer and this is the first one. I do have some sea themed cards without sentiment in my card stand but it's always handy to have some birthday cards in stock.

Something different: Paint pouring. My first dutch pour

Goede morgen allemaal,

even wat anders dan een kaartje want ik ben ook aan het experimenteren met verf gieten. Ik vind het zelf erg wennen omdat het vrij rommelig is en je eigenlijk vrij weinig controle hebt en zo ben ikzelf niet echt. Ik ben met creaties altijd heel precies en dat moet ik met dit helemaal loslaten. Dit is de eerste die ik durf te laten zien. Voor deze heb ik de kleuren magenta, bruin, beetje geel, beetje goud en wit gebruikt. Het is een putch pour waarbij je kleurtjes in laagjes op elkaar giet en met een föhn eerst wit over de kleuren blaast en daarna de richting waar jij het op wilt blazen.

something different than a card because I'm also experimenting with paint pouring. I'm still not really getting the hang of it because it's pretty messy and you have very little controle and well that's not really me. I'm very precisely in my creations and with this I have to let that all go. This is the first one I'm daring to show you. For this one I used magenta, brown, little bit of yellow, little bit of gold and white. It's a dutch pour where you layer colors on top of eachother, blow some white over it and then blow again in the direction you want. 

Ik wil ook nog proberen om meer cellen op mijn canvassen te krijgen en kijken welk middel het fijnste werkt. Ik heb silicone druppels van de Aldi, silicone spray voor sloten enzo en haarolie met dimethicone erin. Natuurlijk laat ik dat dan hier weer zien.

I also want to try to get more cells on my canvasses and to find out wich item work best. I have silicone drops from the Aldi, silicone spray for locks and hairoil with dimethicone in it. Off course I will show that here again.
